“All Hail Facebook!”
Another antique-redux chart, this piece is probably the one I’m most proud of to date (it’s certainly received the most positive reactions from those who’ve seen it displayed at home!).
Based on antique heraldic charts, this project was created in expression of our generation’s obsession with social media, hailing Facebook as the new king.
Stitched on 16 count white Aida, this chart uses only 6 colours (including gold metallic thread for the crown) and measures approximately 6x3 inches framed.
I’m not willing to part with the original piece, though the chart may be purchased from my Etsy shop.
Just renewed in my Etsy shop: Adventure Time cross stitch chart featuring Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, Ice King and LSP.
It’s been featured in this treasury list by Kirstie Gallagher - Thanks Kirstie!
Stuck for a last minute gift for Easter? Why not print and send this cross-stitch Easter card for a crafty friend or family member?

Complete with a chart and cross stitch instructions, you can present this with a couple of embroidery threads and a swatch of Aida to complete the gift. Simply print your card on both sides of an A4 sheet of paper and fold to create a thoughtful Easter gift. Or simply print and keep the chart for your own cross stitch stash.
I’ve combined both the “outer” and “inner” sections as a PDF for your convenience which you can download below:

Amazing Cross Stitch Robots designs by E L I O T, worked on canvas against a backdrop of spray paint using Anchor floss.
There are several more examples on the website and this Flickr photostream. I imagine they look even more striking in real life, but these photographs are gorgeous nonetheless =)
